The Calvert County Marine Museum,
Solomons Island, Maryland is sponsoring an antique marine engine show
and attendance will be by invitation. All collectors of antique
boats, inboard and outboard engines and marine model builders are
welcome.
There is no cut off date for marine inboard or
outboard engines or models.
Antique marine engines adapted for stationary use are welcome.
Sorry, no Hit n Miss farm engines!! This is strictly a marine oriented
show.
Set up will commence on Friday and individuals are welcome to camp with
their exhibits.
Swaps, trades, etc. are encouraged at any time during the show.
Bring your excess parts and engines, who knows you may find just the
part or engine you need.
Compressed air and limited electricity can be provided for model
builders under the covered pavilion. Exhibitors will be welcome to
visit the museum and enjoy the facilities at this outstanding marine
museum. Water will be available.
Details on hotels, restaurants, exhibition area, telephone numbers,
contacts etc. will be supplied to those individuals indicating and
interest in attending.
This show will give those dedicated collectors and model builders an
opportunity to participate in a spring show as well as the Mystic show
in August. April is typically a cool month in Maryland and
occasionally wet so for those traveling long distances they should plan
accordingly.
