Advance Marine Engines - mfg by H. F. Boch and Co, Antioch, IL |
|
These are two Advance marine engines that were built by H. F. Boch & Co. in Antioch Ill. They are believed to be in the 1920's or early 1930's. The owner is anxious to learn more about them. He is the third generation owner and still looking for more information. They are horizontally opposed two cylinder engines. They have an ignition similar to a T- Model car. They run off two marine coils. One is thought to be a 3 H.P. and the other one is thought to be a 5 H.P. One has a water pump that is chain driven and the other one has a piston type water pump that runs off eccentric on the crank. Don't know the bore or the stroke. You can contact the the owner, Joel Varner, by email. |
