Dave Williams wanted an old style marine engine so he set out to build one. He calls it his HB-2. "Home Built" 2 cylinder. Looks like he is making progress. You can reach Dave at 4175 California Ave. Norco, CA. 92860, 800-735-7844. His chief inspector seems to be insuring the work is of the highest order and no shoddy work will be passed.

Dick, All four pictures are there... I just edited them to put each on a new line in case they were all displaying in one row for some users. Looks great! |

I guess I didn't hit the enter key between each photo. Note the YT water pump on this production. Palmer lives on in new production. Will try to do better next time. |

I wonder who straightened my mess up??? Who ever did thank you. Ernie, Dave should go in the business of making antiques bet he could sell them to collectors as real antiques. They will have to wait 50 years but by then we will all be long gone. |

Looks like Dave is only about 30 miles from where I go in Calif for work. I will try to call and visit when I am out there next. I wonder what that is on the bench behind the engine in the pic bleow the tag? |

He has a company called William Lowbuck Tools Inc. Heck of a nice guy and he enjoys antique marine engines. Restored a YT-1 with parts he got from me. I guess this is his next big project. Andrew thanks for cleaning up my mess. Dick |

Take a look around his web page. Only in southern Calif. Even the gas door has louvers. If you haven't had the chance to see some of the craftmanship that is done on vehicles out on the left coast you have no idea what you are missing.

This kind of excellent work deserves some more than the MISCELLANEOUS category at the the end of the list of topics.. Andrew - it's your web site - can you highlight this in some way? miro |
