I received the following correspondance from George E. Totten, Ph.D. If anyone has suggestions for an author please contact him directly.
Quote:I am writing this brief message to ask you if you could recommend someone to write a chapter on Design, Operation, Lubrication and Wear in Two-Cycle Engines for inclusion in the 2nd Edition of the: Handbook of Lubrication - Theory and Practice of Tribology: Volume 1 - Application and Maintenance which I am editing for STLE/CRC. This chapter should be suitable not only as a reference on the subject but also for use in STLE's Lubrication Certification Course. For an organizational reference, I have been telling people that the current chapter on Automobile Engines by Chamberlain and Saunders, while dated, is the type of information and depth of what we are looking for. I would appreciate any assistance that you can provide. George E. Totten, Ph.D., FSAE G.E. Totten & Associates, LLC P.O.
