I would like more info on the '17' N.J.Surfboat'.
Who is the manufacturer and where can I get one?

Hi, I have the 17' surf boat with a 4hp Atlantic in it. It is a Vandyne Brothers surf boat built about 1970 but the same boat is still being produced. I believe they are in lynwood N.J. A new boat is in the neighborhood of $6,000 but they are availible used. A friend just sold a sound but beatup hull for $600 on ebay. They are used extensively on the shore beaches of Long Island and The Jersey coast and the state parks departments own most of them. It is a great boat for the engine and the instalation is fairly straight foward. If you need more info email me @ [email protected] Rob |
