Hello, i was wondering if anyone new if there were comparable parts i can use for an approx- 1959-1961 grey marine fireball V8 duel carbs. I'm looking for spark plugs,wires, fuel pump, filters, etc. mostly tune up items.I've checked a few local auto parts dealers to try to match parts (fuel pump) but as soon as i mention it's to a boat engine they just give up and send me of to a marine shop. I guess what i am looking for is a make and model of a vehicle that would use the same or simalar parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I'm taking the wrong approach please let me know as I am a rookie at this. Attached is a picture of the vessel i am restoring.Also the only pic of the engine. (very blury)   |

These parts are availiable from sierra,which is the marine division of echlin, at your NAPA store.If you are not near a NAPA then look for parts for an old nash or AMC V-8 as it's the same engine. |
