Please find attached photos of Dunn single cylinder, four cycle marine engine I picked up today. Stroke is about 3 3/4" & bore about 3 1/2", I think. Cleaned mud out of carb(non-original? Kingston) fuel inlet & once we determined that it runs counter clockwise it started up but has a lot of crankcase pressure... suspect a broken or stuck ring although it has good compression. Anyone know what type of mixer belongs on it? Color? Any information appreciated. Doug Kimball

Doug, Your question here goes back many months, but I have just come across this info in a 1910 Dunn catalog.The generator valve was standard and extra money got the carburetor. Still dont know original Dunn eng color, but the blue on yours may be close ??  |
