Looking for a suitable hull for a 2HP Dunn turned up plans for 18ft power dory "Bonito" by Charles Mower in 1905. It looked about right so I lofted it. Any experience with this type/size motor in a dory? Prop spec? Thank you. Ed Zeranski San Diego |

I assume that "dory" refers to the hefty fishing row boats used on the Atlantic coast. It would seem to be rather heavy for a 2hp. Dispro boats weigh about 300 Lbs? and were powered by 3hp engines. How heavy is the dory? |
