I was introduced to your site by Jim Barrett (Angus) of Camas, WA at the Great Oregon Steam Up at Brooks, OR this past weekend. Jim is the mag expert at the show. What I have is a Lauson LF 822-2 2 1/2 hp water cooled motor that has an issue... NO spark. Jim tested the mag which is an Eisemann model 71-S and found it to be bad. So what I am looking for is a good replacement coil. An Eisemann p/n 24004 includes the laminated core . The hole in the coil measures 5/8 inch x 5/8 inch. What I am looking for (I think) is a modern coil that would fit my application.Do you have any suggestions that would work? |

A Tecumseh lawn mower coil might work - looks to be about the right size. miro |
