The last piece of my puzzle, I need a timer for a single cylinder, I assume finding a gear drive timer specific to a Caille single will be nearly impossible but if someone has an extra Cuno or the like they would be willing to sell, it would be much appreciated. Big thanks to Ernie, Art DeKalb and J.B so far along my parts finding journey. |

Jess, there were a couple of Caille timer castings around, I never had one. I'll ask the guys and see if anyone does. I do have the castings for the L-A timers and brackets, this was a local "fix" Cailles were repaired with the L-A timers, a more durable and easier to use set up. |

Jess, I heard from Jim Parrott, he has one of the Caille castings, will be in touch. If it doesn't work out the L-A's are available. |

Jess, I have a Caille timer casting that is available if it will work for you. It can be yours for a modest donation to the Center for Traditional Louisiana Boatbuilding and Museum in Lockport LA. |

Hot damn, it must be my lucky day. The mounting holes are 1.365" center to center. I still am unsure of how to donate to the museum, unless you guys just want me to send the money to you. Thanks, Jess P.S. Im flying out to go hunting and i'll be gone after today until the 19th. So if you don't hear from me that's why. |

Hi guys, Just got back from a hunting trip, J.B. I will send out your money order in the morning. The donation was sent in a couple of weeks ago. Thanks a lot for the parts, they arrived while I was gone and seem like the will work fine. Since I'm just piece mealing this together does anyone have a picture of what the inner timing cam and points set up should look like? Thanks again everyone for the parts, I appreciate it. Jess |
