This nickel plated ignitor came in a pail of parts. It has a familiar look about it but I do not know what it fits. Any thoughts?

I thought this might be the style of igniter that went on a vertical shaft driven M&B setup; usually the igniter was on the top (horizontal) part of the head and was operated by a gear driven cam off the vert shaft. I'm thinking of a specific engine (rare and well known) but I just can't remember even the beginning of the name. (I think Keith has a beauty). I'll have to look through ny list of engine builders (which I tried to find via the site search function but could not) Tom |

Tom, It's not a Fay&Bowen, if that's what you were thinking. Attached is a picture of my head prior to restoration.

It's quite rare but every now and then I do find out what a part out of a bucket of unknown bits and pieces actually fits. In this instance, thanks to an observant friend, I can say that the ignitor appears to be a dead ringer for the one on this Eagle. Possibly, some of the water pump parts in the pail are Eagle as well.
