I am currently restoring a Ferro outboard type 7, serial number 157400. in addition to the Ferro plate, there is a second plate which reads:- SIMPLEX POWER OUTFIT,W. MacMILLAN & Co. ALLOA SCOTLAND. I think this company may have been the agents for Scotland. I already have an inboard MacMILLAN engine. Can anyone tell me the make and type of spark plug that should be fitted to the outboard. I have been informed that it is a 1/2 inch NPT thread.}} |
