Does anyone have any idea what this is? Flywheel about 12"dia and cylinder od is about 6". The check valve is from a Lathrop. It has some similarities to a Capitol/Fifield from Maine. However not enough for me to say it is one. When I got it there was Universal in stick on letters on the flywheel face. I would like to see pics of the Universal that is in the museum in Chicago. Thanks for the help Ernie

Ernie-Sorry I can't help to identify your engine. But that is a great idea, erasing the background, so you can send a higher quality picture. |

Here is one that is still an unknown that was posted about 14 years ago. When I got it there was no timer, I put one from a Gray on it. |

I have an identical engine all apart. It has letters with it that reference it as a Barber. No tag though. My engine has a mixer. |
