the more I look at it, it appears the Carburetor is adapted to this engine |

Thanks Doug that was what I was trying to think of. There are many more styles than the one shown in the Big Yellow Book by Wendal about stationary engines. |

Pics from Doug K Looks like its a Fitzhenry and Guptill. Also it isn't in the Yellow Book or any of Wendal's books These were made near Boston and are quite common. Also when you take all the pump stuff off they really do look like a marine engine.

there was a couple of these on Ebay 6 months ago or so. I sure wanted one, but this years cash flow as not allowed for as many toys darn it. |
