Got a load of iron last week. Can anyone help identify this engine. I would think that the five-spoke flywheel and exagerated exhaust manifold might help nail it down. The pump and ignition arrangement looks similar to Atlantic/Acadia.

Not one that I have seen before None of the castings look familiar. It appears to have had an ignitor in an earlier life and the pump etc are similar to just about all ignitor fired 2 strokes. By the location of the intake it looks like it will need a check valve to run. |

Seems to me and Atlantic flywheel would have the classic heart shaped cut outs rather than spokes. |

yup didn't even think of that Also all of the Acadia engines I have seen have 4 holes in the flywheel not spokes |
