I have "inherited" this carburetor with a parts engine recently aquired. It is not original for the application and I have never seen one before. A little searching for background has not turned anything up. Any information on this unit would be appreciated (just curious). |

My guess is Essex Brass Corporation, Detroit, Michigan, which would make sense with the DuBrie/Gray/Brooks connection as a local supplier. They are still in business and started about 1901, making lubricators, etc. |
