Hello all! First time on this board. I was given an outboard boat motor, the only thing I know about it is that the cover says "Fastwin" and it has the Evinrude logo on it. It was painted with green camo, so the only thing I can see are the raised letters. On the shaft of the motor there is a plate with the following "Evinrude Motors" with the numbers "15036M-05997" Is there any way to know the year and horsepower of the motor? Thanks in advance!!! |

The most knowledgeable person on the planet on the subject of old Johnson and Evinrude outboards is Denny Johnson in Keyport Wash. He would not mind a call but has difficulty with the Internet.
