I have a Johnson Sea Horse, 5hp. Instead of giving a model # it gives a code #133-8-487 and a stock # 10-A-2 . Can any one tell me more about this motor? |

No problem on the inboard site. It's just we may not have the best outboard info easily available. The best outboard info is at the Antique Outboard Motor Club web page located here From my documentation: 10-A-2 Shows your outboard was sold by Firestone. It is a 1949 3.6 hp with recoil starter. It was actually made by Scott Atwater. As to the Johnson decals someone must have thought it looked good that way. Hope this helps Ernie |
