As well as wanting prop. size, I would like to know where I could source a overhaul and operating book. Eng details-6/8hp Greyhound s/n 4700 Blaxland Rae Ply Ltd Sydney with Chapman reverse gear type sp2 Chapman and Sherack. Been used only in fresh water. Hope some kind person can help as info on these engines in NZ is hard to find. |

Are you Boyd Guard who was electrician on the tanker Hamilton in 1966? when she went aground off Rotterdam? Sounds to me as if you could be! |

Has anyone had any trouble with the Greyhound cast/i w/cooled muffler, it is large & heavy, leaving one to think that its weight could damage the water jacket where it bolts on? Reminds me of heavy engine casting that I came in contact with during the 60s on oil tankers, one being the Hamilton. |
