waste of a motor.Hull speed would only be about 4 knots , and you could achieve that with a 3 1/2 single, plus the single with correct clutch is about 180 mm shorter = more room in small boat Cheers Todd |

if you have a twin and not a single, it should be alright, I have a twin in my fourteen footer too only because the price for the motor was too good to pass up |

I am restoring a C.A.M. Fisher 13'11" clinker commercial fishing boat still with the copper sheathing over the stbd bow gunwhale (assume for nets?). Planking is 1/2". Arrived minus engine, but original beds match the Blaxland twin I have. |

you have the motor, you have the boat. I don't see a problem, the twin won't sink it, just be overpowered, just don't use as much throttle, easy fix |
