Hey all The coupling that connects the prop-shaft to the gearbox on my 5/7 has failed. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? Thanks Sean

Sean, Your best bets are to find somebody with lot's of spares. Sorry I don't have any Blaxlands. Or get you local machinist to make one up. When you have the replacement check the shaft alignment. |

Depends on your skills or those of your contacts. Options include - Locate original 'spare'. Pattern + casting + machining (preferred). Turn from steel or cast iron bar (preferred). Weld disc to boss and machine (OK). Force fit bored flange to turned boss with scotch key (not preferred). In all cases, remind machinist to bore boss and face flange on one setting and to provide a generous fillet. |

Hi Sean Are you still looking for that part? I have one attached to a 3/4 s/steel Shaft, It may be frozen on but will be OK if the shaft is long enough. Where do you live? |
