Wondering if anyone has a spare Vee Pulley for a Blaxland Twin that they would like to sell? It comes in two halves and is attached to the flywheel. |

Where are you? It would be sensible for me to transfer on some bits of a twin dynastart that I have. Andy @ Baulkham Hills |

Have a twin crank with flywheel/starter and pulley at home - not perfect but good. There are some other bits on another site that I must visit and check. Will get back to you. Andy |

Hi - the bits came off an engine in very rusted condition - usual rust wedging and crankcase badly rusted. There is a crankshaft with slightly damaged front end thread, a non-split pulley and I think a dynastart with pulley - Was there a regulator? The pulley is corroded and has some minor mechanical rim damage but is quite usable. The flywheel must be removed from the crankshaft to fit the pulley. This once took me 20 tons force from a 60 ton press. 12 tons did not do the job. Taper looks like a morse taper. |

Hi Andy, thanks for the info. Is the pully bolted onto the flywheel? Just wondering whether I would be able to cut the pulley into two halves in situ and remove rather than try and remove the flywheel from both your shaft and mine. re the regulator - yes there was a standalone reg for the dynastart. Not to worry if you can't find it as I have a dynastart and reg I was going to use. How much were you looking at for the bits and pieces? |

Andy, also wondering if you have the support brackets and the clamps to fasten the dynastart to the engine? |

Hi Michael, Problem with pulley - grit blasted and found 2 radial cracks from outside at 90 deg. 1 to 3/8" mount hole and one to large hole. Also some surface corrosion as Aluminium pulley is sacrificial to cast iron flywheel. Dynastart looks OK. No brackets. Regulator dented and switch broken. If it were my pulley I'd remachine a Stenco Al pulley. |

Andrew, thanks for chasing up for me. At this stage, I might keep looking for an original pulley. If anyone else there has a pulley that they would like to part with please let me know. |
