I have play from left to right in crank. What is the max. play allowed at thrustrace end.

You should know better than that Stef.
Ring Boyd or Todd. If you need the number, ring me..
What do you mean by Left to Right? Is it sideways or Front to Back end float. If it is Front to back you should have 10 - 12 thou, (thats what it is on the Hall anyay). If it is sideways then the bearings are flogged.

If it helps, as it sounds like you need to pull it down, the crank to white metal bearing clearance should be 2 thou.
