Hi Guys, I have been out of the loop for a few years. I posted the availability of a pdf of the Motor Manual some years ago when I was a Visitor and have since sent out 40 or so copies by e mail. I am just doing a rebuild on my computer and don't have the scanner up yet, but in a few days anyone that would like a copy of an Original Blaxland Brochure, let me know by email and I will email it out. Same deal, not for commercial gain, just your own enjoyment. re Murray. |

I have just got this brochure out after 6 years and must add that it is specifically a brochure for - Chapman Blaxland Marine Engines And Motor Launches. It is from A.J & G.V Rose Engineering. (the late Aub Rose) and states Chapman & Blaxland famous for over 90 years. If you still want a copy let me know. It has some info on available clinker boats plus the SXT 3 1/2hp & the TXRR 5/7hp. |

Hi People, the brochure is only small, so please don't be dissapointed if you are looking for a lot of information, it is more a "nice to have" general thing rather than any technical information at all. It is a bit too long for my scanner, bear with me I'm working on it and I will email it out. re Murray |

OK, the small Rose/Blaxland Brochure has been e mailed out to all that asked for it along with a copy of the engine manual with part list and diagram. My benefit in sending this stuff out is to try and contribute to you guys keeping these engines going. Keep up the good work. re Murray |

I think it would probably be best to talk to Boyd Myers, as in his younger days he worked for Aub building engines, and has a fairly good grasp of the history.Brett Jacobs would also be another good contact. Todd |

Thank You Todd I will follow up with these contacts, also Roger Sherek, it would be good to get a book done on such a famous set of engines . I did search the archives of business and found a photo of 1923 works in Camperdown Sydney showing men at work on the engines , so much more to do . I am new to the boat game and blaxlands but learing fast will put a photo of boat on the pages here Thanks Quinton |
