Hi fellows. I recently acquired a mid 50's 23 ft. Owens with a Universal engine. It turns over fine and looks promising. I would like to identify the model and also any leads for spare parts, manuals etc. I can't see much for casting numbers other than F173. Here is what I have:
Head casting date 3-26-57
Head length 24 inches
Overall engine with gear length appox.46 inches
24 head stud bolts
12 Volt Prestolite starter/generator
The previous owner thought it might be 230 cu in but not certain. ANY info would be a great help. Thanks very much ! |
