I just acquired an Atomic 2 engine, Serial #22765, and model S11, that is in need of some restoration work. It was left with salt all over the bottom (partial immersion), and needs a manifold repair. I have located a brochure, but am looking for any manuals (operation, service, repairs, parts) that may be available. If you are aware of anyone who has manuals or parts for the Atomic 2 engine, please let me know. Here are a couple pictures of the engine. Thanks, David Grosse David's Yacht Service SoCal

I have been studying a blow up of the engine tag, which is missing paint and a little beat up, and have decided that the correct serial number is more likely 227630, and the model looks to be a 5611. But, it is like reading ghost numbers that have left latent images on the tag metal. If anyone can help verify or correct these, I would appreciate the help. |

Hello Dave. I too have just procured an Atomic 2. My main needs are head and manifold gaskets. It was stuck but I can come up with a ring set from other sources. Any leads to the gaskets ? |

W Wier, Good Luck with your Atomic 2. I would really enjoy some pictures. As for gaskets, you might get buy cutting your own from gasket material, particularly the manifold gasket. For a head gasket, you could contact John at gasketstogo.com . Please let me know if you do, and what you find out. You can reach me direct at [email protected] Regards, David Grosse 949-933-9613 SoCal |
