I have in my possession one of these fine pieces of machinery pushing a mahogany-racer from the 20ies. However it is very difficult to tune the caburetors. Need som kind of manual to have it work properly. The Stromberg O-3 carbs was also fitted to the famous Dusenberg and Lincoln straight 8 1920-30.
Anyone who have manual or hints?

This company has rebuild kits for literally thousands of old carbs and they may be able to direct you to a source for a manual to help you rebuild and / or tune yours!

last year I restored a 1927 -- 1932 straight 8 universal. inside the housing of the generator it was stamped 1928. so therefore i believe the engine to be 1927 or 28 all aluminum except the cyl. even the rods. A joes transmission is part of the engine making it over 5 ft long. My engine has two carbs which I sent to long island to get overhauled when re enstalled the engine ran a whole lot better rhspeas
