I have a Universal Blue Jacket Twin from about 1948, model AFTL, serial 47530. The previous owner of the boat told me the engine was completely rebuilt, but it is not re-installed in the boat yet, so I can's say how it runs. During a move, the distributor cap got broken. Any leads for this part would be most appreciated. The distributor is AutoLite part IGW4163A-7A, according to the name plate.

Thanks for the info. I checked the NAPA website and their picture shows what appears to be the correct part. My question is, how did you know? Is there a listing somewhere? I searching the NAPA site and couldn't get to the part without knowing the part number you gave me.

I have a 1954 Autolite book. Found the Autolite number there. Cross referenced through a 1964 NAPA book

Jim-

The plastic body of my distributor is cracked. Do Autolite and NAPA have a listing for that? Also, can you give me part numbers for other tune up parts such as rotor and condenser?

I have the spark plug number, Champion D-16M, from the Universal Operation and Maintainance Manual at: http://www.westerbeke.com/OnlineManuals/200156_Atomic4_Operator_Man.pdf. Online info says this has been superseded by D16, but the only sources I could find are in England. I have ordered from England before but the shipping tends to be expensive.

Thanks again!

Finding d16s should not be a problem, unless things have changed.A ud16 is the heavy duty version used in contintial flat heads. Alot of the farmal tractors around here use the 15A plug instead.I have 2 boxes of new D16s in the barn, that i found at a flea market. The ac number would be 45.

Larry-
Would you be interested in selling 4 plugs? The price at the British sites is about $4.50 each (pounds converted to dollars), not counting shipping.
Thanks.

Worth: Last week I found the D-16 Champion sparkplug at O'Riley's Auto parts in Deltaville, VA. They have them in stock. 2 plugs were under $6.00 including tax.

Ward - I already found D-16 plugs and ordered them online from MFG Supply. But thanks for thinking of me!
