I have a 6DT-317 that I am going to install in my 1941 White Scout Car. It's absolutely the correct engine as 107 of these were shipped to Russia under Lend-Lease when the US Army decided that a diesel engine wasn't worth with it. I guess the Axis was wrong.... I need an automotive transmission to go with it. Do any of you historians know which trans should mate to this engine and do you know of a trans for sale. Bill Campion |
