Required 3 position switch (Start, Stop,Charge)for P66.Tried Fairways, they do not do them anymore.Or advise on how to wire without 3 position switch. Also help required on cone clutch ajustment. Have to put into reverse before drive forward starts.Any help appreciated, thankyou. |

Dragonrider, you just need a start switch/button, and a stop button. I have wired these seperately. I used push buttons from current marine chandelry's, and they work well. The Dynastart is constantly in charge mode via the regulator/cutout, so you don't need the charge switch. |

Dragonrider, on my P66 with Siba Dynastart and coil ignition, I simply have a push / pull - off / on switch and a rubber insulated "press to start" button. The dynastart continually charges whilst the engine is running which negates the requirement for a three way switch. When we wired up the boat we did not understand why you would switch off the charging whilst underway. Perhaps someone could explain! |

The reason for the 3-way switch is that the dyno (dynastart) draws a reletivly large amount of horsepower from what is a rather small motor. Switching off the charging enabled the motor to supply full horsepower to the propeller |
