Some time back someone was asking the sprocket size on a magneto for a S/T engine . Did they get an answer if not get in touch with me and i will post it. |

i was asking the sproket size to go on a wico series a for a p55 industrial ok i have 17 tooth sproket on there now same size and pitch as the one on the engine i have had the engine running but backfiring quite badly so i think i require some help on setting up points etc you have now gathered i am a coplete novice with this engine but i got it in three big bits and a box odds and ends and only with help from the more informed have i got this far and would like to see the engine running again. thanks TOM |

Tom , sounds like you are heading in the right direction , backfiring could be because your fuel mixtre is too lean . |
