The Stuart is a good engine - some say, over engineered - at least compared to some of the (Australian) marine engines of the same vintage. I'm a very keen Stuart fan - I have eight Stuarts and Sole Diesel, and about 30 folders of published material. They can be expensive to recondition as most of the parts are not in production. Fairways Marine are the supplier - www.fairwaysmarine.com Hence, if in good condition it will be marketable to a wider audience. I have seen them advertised on ebay and in the UK Stationery Engine magazine. Incidentally, I wrote an article on Stuarts that should have been published in last month's edition. You should also post an ad on www.marineengine.com |
