I am giving my P5 a top end rebuild and see if I can get it going , last owner blew the head gasket, if I am succesfull I will be fitting it into my boat. I also have a set of ST sternegear, with a 1/2" shaft, this has a "scoop" about an inch from the end, and also a groove for a woodruff key The circular fitting on the gearbox output shaft has 3 holes in it. Is there a specific part that will connect the end of the prop to the end of the gearbox ? does anyone on the forum have one available ? or do I need to get a flexible coupling made up. |
