Hi, I have just bought a sail boat in Cherbourg, France and I may well want to sell the engine. It is a Stuart Turner P66. In principal, would anyone out there be interested in a possible purchase? So far as I know she was running 2 or 3 years ago. I have yet to fire her up. Any interest, please reply. Many thanks. |

Hi The Fly wheel came off my P66 a month ago and seems to have bent the crank shaft. I'm looking for a replacement. Interested depending on cost of course and collection/delivery. What do you intend to replace it with? Simon |

Hi Simon, in answer to your question, I will not be replacing the engine as my intention is to sail without one. Cost, I haven't worked out yet. At the moment I will be staying in Cherbourg so 'at the moment' it could be collected from here. Having said that if I was able to get a reasonable price for her, delivery could be arranged appropriately. I am not a mechanic so cannot give a good account of her condition...but she looks ok! Are you close to a ferry terminal, Poole/Portsmouth? Interested to talk more if you are. E mail me if you wish. Cheers, Simon. |
