There is an interesting post on the discussion board at MarineEngine.com from someone looking replacement diesels for boats for hire that currently have Stuart Turner engines in them...??!! I don't know any more about it or where they are located... but someone may want to find out! Here is the link to the other board: click here The other board looks like this one, except you will see the MarineEngine.com logo instead of the OldMarineEngine.com logo.... somewhat confusing... |

I am looking for information on Stuart Turner 9 hp twin cylinder diesel engines. I have one in a Hartley 28ft Yacht, and need info on generators/alternators to suit |

I presume that your 9 HP diesel is the Stuart H2M model. The only info I have is a 3 page 1953 article from Yachting World describing the engine etc, a 2 page outline of the engine from the British Diesel Engine Catalogue and a lot of pictures from the Old Engine website - link as follows www.oldengine.org/members/diesel/Stuart/Stuart1.htm Your best bet is to contact the guy who posted the pics on Old Engine website. There is probably an email link with the pics Otherwise try Fairways Marine in England via their website. |
