The P6 in my boat does not have the silencer. The exhaust currently has a small water lift near the outlet. The information I have indicates that the silencer adds to the performance of the engine. I'd like to include one. The product literature says the silencer is a 4 inch diameter by 18 inch long tube. It is an absorption type. What does that mean? What's in the thing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, floyd |

It would be straight thro' with a load of holes puched in the circumference. The gap between filled with asorption material ie exhaust wadding/packing. |
