The float valve is not stopping the fuel when the bowl is full. In my experience this could be either a defective float, or a needle, or the valve seat, or any combination. My number one suspect was the float. I submerged it in hot water, but I didn't see any bubbles. The valve and the seat look OK. Ideas? Is there a good source for these parts? Help! Thanks, Floyd |

Hi I have a Stuart Turner P5. The mechanic who is repairing it has told me that the Dynamo isn't working. Also, the 'Drive Coupling' for the Dynamo needs to be replaced. Can anyone suggest where I might be able to get a 'Drive Coupling'? I have a Stuart Marine Engines spare part booklet, which has a diagram on page 8 of the Starter Motor and Dynamo. The Drive Coupling part appears to be number 12271B. The details on the actual Dynamo are: LUCAS 27719B 6 63 C40 FV26 12V. Thanks Michael |
