I'm giving a friend a hand to fit a P55 into his boat. The engine came without an exhaust. I've searched your board and found that the thread for the fitting is 1 3/4 bsp, unfortunately I've not been successful in finding a source for such a fitting in the UK! Does anyone here have a suggestion as to where I might be able to find one? The rest of the exhaust I could make myself. I see that the last remaining supplier of S/T parts sadly died earlier this year, has anyone taken on the business? Thanks in advance for any help. |

Ken ,I had the same problem ,I could not get a fitting anywhere, that is 1 3/4 BSP. I ended up making one ....a brass nut 11 TPI to fit the major diam of 2 1/8th any good machine shop could do this for you if you dont have the facilities your self. |

Thanks Peter, it looks like we'll have to get one made unless anyone else has an idea. |

I have the same problem, and also decided to get one made. Just bought an old lathe so should be able to turn one up eventually. Were steel or brass fitted originally? |
