As a volunteer with a Windmill Preservation Society in Sussex, I have taken on a project to restore a P4 1hp 1000rpm engine, No. 11011. I am led to understand there is a problem with the big ends and it requires a carburetta. There is a all brass carburetter that is not attached with a stamped No. 141607/19 on top of the float chamber, but it appears to be the wrong fitting unless there is something missing. Has anyone any idea of the age of this engine? I would welcome any advice and knowledge of this model including where to source a workshop manual, a new carburetta (if needed) and any other spares.}}} |
