I have had a P66 in a wooden boat for about 5 years and recently overhauled the carby. After doing so it started ok but ran very fast so i stopped it. I have since tried to re start it for many hours and it won't run. i've striped the carby (Amal 622) twice to ensure it is ok, checked compression which is within a couple of lb of recommended. Fuel is flowing to carby. I've placed fuel via the spark plug, I've changed plugs and have good spark, drained excess fuel from crank case. I'm at a loss to why it won't fire. Does any one have any suggestions? Regards Mark.
