another one followed me home engine no 23699 with a yfe wilson&co generator no 104 or 154? engine looks rough but i got a spark at the mag so it looks good so far compression good could use a diagram of the upright air filter system as this one has gone and any idea of date of manufacture thanks TOM |

Hi tom, I have a p55 genset also engine No.22831 supplied in 1944 on a war dept.contract. Hope this helps , have all the gensets lost their air intake filters mine is also missing, I do know though that they were a Vokes ,type C.I.A (fabric) filter but can not find any info on them. Cheers John. |
