Acadia Serial Number list from OME posts as of 12 13 2016

Note multiples of the same number are correct.
Acadia seemed to use the same number/s more than once in the 2 digit serial number range.

My 5 hp is also # 55.

Edit,.... oops,. You probably pulled the # 55 info from an old post of mine here.

I own two Acadia 8 hp twin cylinder. One of them got the serial number 45162, for the other one the serial number is missing. I don't know the age of those engine but the one with the serial number was coupled with a Paragon model 2xe-90 who seem to be made in the early sixty

Brian,
We have no idea of production dates on engines with 2 digit serial numbers.
As you can see in the chart above there are 3 engines with a serial number of 60, and they are all different horsepower, so we are pretty sure that they are NOT the same engine showing up multiple times.

FYI: I also have a 3 hp Acadia with serial number 49.
I also have no idea what it really signifies.
I realize this is an old thread but is there any new information out there?
PS: I know this is NOT one of the previous known 49ers out there.

Here are the pics to go with the SN above.
Note that whom ever had it in whatever it must have had a temperature gauge since there is a temp sensor in the water outlet piping.
Nice engine with an unbroken exhaust manifold.
By SN it is most likely from the 70's
This one belongs to Dwight in VA.
Enjoy
Ernie
