My wife and I bought a property in Nova Scotia in 1990. On the property was an Acadia 7.5hp stationary engine connected to a winch used for hauling fishing boats up a slipway. The engine had been outside. I kept it covered and eventually got it going again. I got the former resident of the property who grew up fishing with his dad to demonstrate running the engine. It's on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUZV1NFRD0g Thought you'd like to see it. I'm in the process now of restoring an Acadia 4hp marine engine that came out of a boat in Newfoundland. |
