Acadia 4 HP I just picked up. Real good condition and runs excelent! Does anyone have a 1 inch Acadia carb in good condition to trade for a 1 inch Atlantic carb in good condition? Yup it has an Atlantic carb on it.

Ernie, How can you tell it is an Atlantic carburetor? It looks like a Schebler D. Did they stamp them Atlantic or something? Archibald Northfield, Minnesota |

Acadia and Lunenburg Foundry (Atlantic) both made thier own carbs copyied from the Schebler. Most of the parts will even interchange with a Schebler. The one from Acadia says Acadia Bridgewater NS and the one from Lunenburg says Atlantic Lunenburg NS. Both are sand castings and have a rough external surface. Where the Scheblers have a smooth external surface as they must have had some sort of "hard" mold. |

Ernie, There were some of these NOS or repro covers kicking around a few years back. I'll check to see if we have any, but I think that ours all went on engines.
