We have a 1966 Lonestar with two tillotson carbs that need replacement. The model number of the carbs are MD143B and MD135B. We need to find a kit or replacement that will work for this boat. The engine is an old Renault 60hp Inline 4.
Any and all help would be great! |

I found a company that will retool to manufacture parts for the md series carburetors if there is someone to pay for the retooling or enough interest in kits to make it worth while to build the tooling.The ccompany is THE CARBURETOR SHOP EMAIL CARBURETOR KING. I also plan to share this information with sierra marine and some other boat parts companies in hopes they will pick up on this also.

To Arthur.Try to get in touch with some people in the country of ireland.Their fax should be 217-428-4631,phone # i dont know the prefix,is 353-6621911.They are a company.I did a lot of business with them when i worked on outboards in central texas.Its been about 5 years so i dont know if they are still in business.E-mail back.I will try and get some more info from my old files.Tillotson parts are hard to find in the us.Try calling sea-way marine in seatle WA at 1-800-332-0803.They know who i am.They may be able to help.They carry a lot of old parts.John. |
