Richard posted these photos for me. I needed three of the L-A brush type timers, Richard needed one and there are others in our area that call for this type.They will replace the point type, it's an earlier design. Most had the handle broken off, or were missing completely. I made a pattern and put it on a board along with the brush holder. Four were cast as a trial run, machined two and see no problems so I will have some more cast. If anyone needs one let me know. |

Aloha JB, Your posting of almost two years ago indicates that at the time you were considering building some more. If you do, I sure would be intersted in snagging one of them for my Brooks/Dubrie 4HP. I have the engine running (moderately) with a homemade wipe arm timer, but yours certainly puts mine to shame. Chuck, I believe your Brooks should have a timer like the Belle Isle. i made this one from brass plate. |
