Hello Thomas
I have two very old carburetors (1920-30), made by bronze. Bigger have nickel covered. Carburators install under manifoild. The carburators have two separate fuel system for gerozine and petrol. You can select manually from direct carb. that small lever that fuel-type. NiFe is manufactors name, carburators are patent modell. Interesting isn,it. Small carb. is totally new, bigger is in good conditions. I wonder do I install big or small in my Spripps 4-60 engine. I have one question from that engine.

"NIFE" was the name of a Swedish-owned company that made Nickel Iron batteries in the 20s and 30s in England. I have some. The spelling you have "NiFe" suggests an association there too.
