Schebler Model D 1 inch carb needle

Author Message   RobBaur Visitor Posted on Friday, January 18, 2013 - 05:49 pm:        I have 2 worn needles that leak. Part "H" on the parts diagram. Are they available anywhere? Can I mount it in a drill and polish with 600 grit? Drill a larger hole so the seal is at a new location on the needle? Other ideas? I have a 1920 railroad motorcar with a V-4 aircooled 2 stroke of 100 CI that uses 2 carbs.
