I have a 1946 make & break, double 5hp Atlantic (10hp) and I discarded the carburetor by mistake. The carburetor mounted onto the underside of the manifold and the mount on the carb was on top as opposed to on the side. I have carb's that have a side mount and I am wondering if the mount and the breather horn are inter-changable? Would appreciate any suggestions Paul |

If the carb is a Schebler Model D knockoff from Lunenburge just swap the side for the top. They work either as a side or updraft. Makde sure you have a gasket on the top of the throat in either mode. |
