You have a c. 1906, Holly, Model L. The attached copy of a Holly ad illustrating this carburetor is of poor quality but it is the best I have. The Holly Model L is on the left, the Model WJ is in the right.

I should have noted that these carburetors had a number of applications. Your carburetor was clearly used in marine applications but also may have been installed on an early automotive engine. It may have been on a stationary engine for that matter bit I suspect it was intended for marine or automotive use. Like any competitive business, be it 1906 or 2008, you made your product adaptable to as many applications as possible. |
